This is a pair of brooches that symbolize the journey from the past to the present. The first brooch is an antique Tunisian piece that belonged to my grandmother, representing the ancient. The second brooch is a modern design that represents the new. The pearl chain connecting the two brooches represents my personal journey through time, bridging the gap between the two eras.

I was involved in clay/bronze sculpting for years, I'm glad I was lucky enough to study goldsmithing, a world that fascinates me. It's a world that I'm probably most busy with in my retirement years. I like that there are layers of knowledge and treasure that is revealed more and more.
