I have been fascinated by the unrelenting divergence of layers within natural forms, specifically the skin. The reality of its constantly shifting characteristics with age, and the ability to capture a specific time frame with the use of oil paint within my work, is a major consideration in the containment of a snapshot of our bodies and lives.

Started painting in August 2022 and this is my second large-scale piece.
