I don't think you decide to be an artist one day. I think if you have the artist in yourself it will come out. I started drawing when I was 6 years old, I took a pen and started to draw anything, and I continued to do so for the years that came. But for many years, the truth is, I didn't do any oil paintings, I just did hand drawings and studied interior architecture. And all my life I was attracted to paintings, visited museums, and eventually I decided to try to paint. Somehow everything I learned regarding to drawing and architecture helped me to become a painter.

The Process

The whole painting was a challenge , especially to draw the body of a bull standing in air, so I had to design it in 3d in a 3d software I usually use for my interior design projects. The whole idea of this painting came from a book where the author talks about the bulls in the corida in Spain and how they are tested by attacking them and hitting them with spears. That is why there are dozens of spears above my bull in my painting, those spears represent the hardships of life. Also i wanted that the painting give energy through it's colors so I tried to make some high energy colors for this painting keep it professional at the same time and not use too strong colors, so I used a lot of grays, gray-yellow, gray-orange , etc.
