'Surreal Falling Preservation"

Nature will soon fade away if we do not control our cities nature awareness acts.

As a native resident of New York State, residing in both Long Island and New York City for my life thus far, I am in full awareness of the way New York State as well as its residents care for, or destroy nature. I am a believer in preservation acts in nature, with also a focus on our individual carbon footprint. When we take a look at the parts of these greater preservation acts, it comes down to the individual. This landscape is a surreal version of what will and can lowly happen to nature if city life takes over. The species which some represented here are endangered already, will slowly fade away and cease to exist. I am fascinated by the surreal style that can be creatively made up in ones mind. I wanted to make for a representational view of what could happen with my own imaginative spin on the composition. This creation to me means to always be in concern with the surrounding nature around us. It is inspiring to not only the whole party involved, but to the individual. Reducing our carbon footprint is crucial for the longevity of our planet.

About

Living in New York City as a graduated art student, I am constantly around such an effervescent environment. This which appears throughout my expressive oil painting artwork. My mission in my art, is to captivate the viewers mind and eye through vibrant colors, brushwork, blending, and style. My concepts come emerge deep within me, as I always try to evoke something that is worth noting. My subject matter is mainly surrounding positivity, the inner self, locations which influence the viewer, and many other changing theories. To inspire, and teach others with the magical mediums of 2-D art making is my chosen journey I was born for. I believe everyone has an artistic sense, and I want to bring it out within them through my arts visual and symbolic messages.

The process of creating this started with an image in my mind, which then was brought to life in a digital mock up collage on the app procreate on my iPad. This served as my own personal reference photo to use as I was painting. The prismatic color scheme was one I chose very intently. I wanted to create a dismal sense, and I feel color has a lot to do with that feeling. I learned more about species of animals that are native to North America while painting this. The animals that are presented are the American black bear, & deer. The ones which are endangered are the spotted turtle, karner blue butterfly, & short eared owl. The challenges of this painting was due to the size of it, it was quite a time consuming and detailed process on a large scale. I feel the size holds correlation to the prodigious subject matter being showcased. Creating a sense of nature slowly merging into and destroying nature was a daunting yet exciting task to take on for my creation.
