Nylon, a fabric with exceptional strength and durable fibre properties, resembles skin within my work. Our skin has the ability to stretch and then return to normal when released, thus allowing for mobility. The fabric adjusts to natural qualities and has the ability to expand in the same way that our bodies do. The appearance of a dense block of colour consists of layers that stretch and overlap, simultaneously reflecting light and creating depth over the surface.
