The letters appear to be caught in the roots of the bracelet, and at the same time, seem to be trapped in flames, an image that reflects the fate of the Yiddish language. Through this design, I wanted to convey the complex history and rich cultural heritage of the Yiddish language, which has suffered greatly throughout history but still remains a vital part of Jewish identity.
The creation of this bracelet was a personal journey for me, as a researcher of Yiddish culture, it represents my exploration of another language and culture, and the roots of my own heritage. The bracelet wraps around the wrist like the roots of a tree, reminding the wearer of the importance of staying grounded and connected to their own cultural identity. "Roots" is not just a beautiful piece of jewelry but also a symbolic reminder of the importance of honoring our cultural heritage and history.

About
As a lifelong lover of the visual arts, I have always felt drawn to the creative process of working with my hands. After years of theoretical studies, I discovered goldsmithing and was instantly captivated by the way raw materials could be transformed into unique and beautiful pieces of jewelry. I find joy in the process of shaping and molding metals to create wearable art that tells a story.
