When the topic was introduced, my thoughts turned to Iran, where my mother came from, and the work of goldsmiths in India, as well as the allure of magical gems. From these musings, I created a map which I used to dream and create.
The resulting piece is a beautiful expression of my imagination and the exotic cultures that inspire me. It showcases the intricate details of goldsmithing and the use of magical gems to create a unique and mesmerizing work of art.

About
I began my journey in goldsmithing after obtaining two degrees in economics and a long career in banking. However, with the birth of my children, I took a break to be at home with them during their early years. It was during this time that I realized I had been on autopilot for years and began exploring new interests.
Although I have always enjoyed creating and working with my hands, it was not until I started experimenting with goldsmithing, sculpting, and soldering metal that I truly found my passion. There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of taking an idea from imagination to a finished piece of metalwork, whether it be a smooth and simple design or a dazzling piece of jewelry that catches the eye from afar.
My favorite part of the goldsmithing process is the finishing stage, where the metal is transformed from a rough and dull surface with multiple solder marks into a shining and polished masterpiece. Despite the grime that covers my hands during this stage, it is all worth it when the final piece glimmers in the light.
