For I did the black and white galaxy disc ring/pendant on the finger, this one is more visually playful with added different colors on each side. Also with just a touch through the space gesture, in this piece I added a bit more interaction by repositioning the opening on the disc so it creates a narrative like the hand is dragging the galaxy or falling out of it by wearing in variety directions.

At its heart, all jewelry is interactive. Yet the pieces in Jiawei’s collection “Serenity” are more of a collaboration than most. Moulded to orbit the wearer, these souvenirs from a galaxy not so far away are a meeting place for the intergalactic and the human terrain. Through her collection Jiawei conveys the peacefulness and grandeur that the universe evokes in her. The reflections of stars are embedded in the powdered glass that glazes over a thin sheet of metal. The Process

This piece is a challenge of using silver as the base metal, for it works differently while using transparent coloured enamel, it could have some colour change if you didn't add the thickness or the flux (a kind of enamel before applying transparent warm coloured enamel on silver) right. It is quite challenging while making this piece and I did some extra adjustment while working with it, the final outcome turns to own two different sense on each side which I learned more about how to better control the colour and the gradient effect between each colours of enamel.
