Dining In

Dining in is underrated

The popularity of dining in has increased over the past few years, especially during the pandemic. Personally, I believe that the bonds built while inviting friends over for dinner are even stronger than those formed in a restaurant setting because dining in feels more personal and intimate. This illustration was inspired by a dinner at my partner's Italian neighbors' home, and I wanted to capture the joy of enjoying meals with loved ones.

"Dining In" is inspired by Alison Roman's cookbook and my personal experience of dining at home since the pandemic. It is a delightful work celebrating joy, food, and humanity, and will also be a joyful addition to your home.
