commensalism, 2023

This is the first sculpture that I have created using a completely new approach, I wanted to express the mystery, the sensual, the weird but beautiful and attractive feeling that I feel in animals, plants, and different creatures. I didn't sketch or plan anything for this work, but I kept this feeling in my heart and mind. My hands, my eyes, and my inner feelings worked together to make this piece without any plan.

Porcelain clay is one of the materials that has always made me feel so mysterious that I still use it as a material for this work. The continuous lines in the overall work add to the integrity of the piece and give it a floral softness, while the large bold colors add richness and the slender black dotted elements growing out of the recesses to give the piece a mysterious feel and alive.
