Through my artwork, I want to explore the role of women in the world. The “Broken Stairs” art piece acknowledges a woman's inner strength and resilience to pursue her dreams despite social customs and adversities. This painting is an oil on canvas art piece. The process started by creating multiple sketches and watercolor drawings to define composition and colors.

Andrea Touché is a multidisciplinary visual artist born in Monterrey, Mexico living in Boston, MA. A self-taught artist with studies in industrial design, fashion, and business is now ending her Post-Baccalaureate certificate in studio art at SMFA. Working across mediums and exploring themes of woman's empowerment, Touche has exhibited at Mystica Museum (Tulum), MADS Gallery (Milan & Canary Islands), Casa Milan (Mexico City), and Gallerie Joseph (Paris). In 2019 she was selected by Mexicraneos to create a public art project to be shown in “El Paseo De La Reforma” in Mexico City.
